Early results of clinical trials suggest that some constituents of cannabis can alleviate the symptoms and contain the debilitation of multiple sclerosis. John Zajicek of the Peninsula School of Medicine in Devon thinks this compatible with the theory that certain marijuana ingredients may prevent the death of nerve cells.
